Seen here is the 1969 firebird, C/S Jr stock car. It moved up a class from the D/S Jr stocker.
This was the first day back from the paint shop, if you look close you can see the rags in the RAIV scoops, the RAIV pans and flappers were already gone! Engineering told them they didn’t work as good as open air and to can them.

A quick burnout caught on film.  The RAIV 4 speed 3.90 geared C/stocker getting ready to make a pass!
the car ran 11.93 at 118 MPH It was driven by Bill Eckstrom and later Tom MC Ennis. It was said to have raced rockys Goat for a new RAIV engine in the finals.
